We’re looking for a full-time Platform & Community Manager to join our team, remotely. Our Platform & Community Manager will play a central role at Harlem Capital, supporting the firm’s community engagement, operations, programming, and marketing. Responsibilities:

• Community & event management
  • Plan and produce Harlem Capital’s online and offline community engagements with portfolio companies, key stakeholders, and partners
  • Manage Harlem Capital’s online community platforms, including Slack & Hivebrite
  • Collaborate with the investment team to manage Harlem Capital’s Intern, Operator, and Angel programs 
• Operations
  • Support, manage, and optimize Harlem Capital’s no-code tech stack and day-to-day firm operations
  • Design frameworks to measure and report the ROI/outcomes of community engagements with portfolio companies, key stakeholders, and partners (including NPS, sentiment, etc.) 
• Marketing
  • Develop and execute our content strategy across owned and earned media
  • Manage social media accounts (Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn)

Qualifications:

• Committed to HCP’s mission and passionate about diversifying the tech ecosystem and supporting diverse communities 
• Entrepreneurial drive and desire to help grow a business with a flat hierarchy
• Ability to foster community both online and offline and can show examples of past work
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
• Proficient with tools for developing marketing content, managing social media channels, event production, and project management
• Strategic, organized, and able to execute 
• 3+ years experience in community management, business operations, marketing and social media (ideally in an investing, tech, or startup environment)
